Will it make my child sleep?
Bedtime Bestie isn’t a sedative, sleep medicine or melatonin product. It’s made to become part of a repeatable wind-down routine: the same spray, the same soft lavender scent, at the same point each night. Noody parents tell us their kids quickly recognise the bottle and know what comes next. Individual experiences vary.
What age can we start?
From 3 months. It’s just as useful for older kids — and tired parents.
Where do I spray it?
Mist onto the back, legs or feet as part of the bedtime routine. Avoid the face, broken skin and eyes.
How much should I use?
A few light sprays is plenty. You don’t need to soak the skin — the idea is to make it an easy step you can repeat each night.
Can we use it every night?
It’s designed to be used as part of a regular bedtime routine from 3 months. As with any fragranced cosmetic, stop use if irritation occurs.
Can adults use it?
Absolutely. Bedtime Bestie is fair game for tired parents too.
Will it mark sheets or pyjamas?
The formula is water-light and fast-drying, with no sticky residue. Let it dry briefly before pyjamas or jumping under the duvet.
Is it fragranced?
Yes — Bedtime Bestie has a soft lavender scent. Linalool and limonene are declared in the ingredient list. If skin has reacted to fragranced products before, patch-test first.
Does the magnesium absorb through skin?
We don’t make claims that Bedtime Bestie delivers a specific dose of magnesium through the skin. Magnesium chloride is a core part of the formula, but Bedtime Bestie is sold as a cosmetic wind-down mist — not a magnesium supplement or medical treatment.
Is there melatonin in it?
No. Zero melatonin.

Despite all of the amazing reviews I was sceptical buying this cream because it was the fifth cream tried on my baby’s very dry cheeks and neck. I popped it on in the evening after his bath and this morning it has dramatically improved. It’s no longer red, much, much less dry and he’s not scratching himself any more which is a huge relief for me.
